Children's Home
We support Getsemany Children's Home in Morelos, Coahuila, Mexico across Eagle Pass, Texas. For the last 24 years, The Bivens have received children who are orphaned, abused, neglected, and abandoned. We would love to be able to visit often, and personally deliver donations, but we aren't able to go as often as we would like, however, the Bivens come by McAllen, and we take every opportunity to meet them and load them up with supplies.
The Homeless
We partner with Little House of Care located in Conroe, Texas. We make several trips during the year to lend a helping hand to Lee and Sally Wilcox, who diligently bring to the homeless not only food and clothing but a loving and sincere hug that remind them they are created in the image of God and that they are loved by Him. In return they load us up with groceries, clothing, personal care items, babies' stuff, and many more!
Unplanned Pregnancies
Recently, we began a partnership with McAllen Pregnancy Resource Center. We will help with supplies for pregnant women and their infants. We will also volunteer for spiritual counsel and support. The Center is a 501 (c)(3) tax exempt organization offering free pregnancy services . They do not perform nor refer for abortions or birth control services. This organization is strongly Christian and are a perfect match for us!
The Handicapped
The Center for education and training for the handicapped in Reynosa, Mexico. provides shelter and training to people of diverse handicapped needs. Some are blind, deaf, down syndrome, autistic or have missing limbs.
The addicted
We partner with Rehabilitation Centers such as Under Over Fellowship (Conroe) Outcry (RGV) Torre Fuerte (Mexico).
